Art. 86.2
This is a good rule and has been useful for solving numerous problems (for example nomenclatural problems raised in the iczn-list mailing list) where the English and the French texts differed from each others, and where the French text was extremely helpful because it was either less ambiguous, or differed from the literal meaning of the English text and conformed more with the general intention of the Code. I would not recommend to replace 86.2 by a rule following which the English text should be superior to the French text.
